The Jazz Plus series had Phillip Kubicki active electronics and slightly redesigned body shapes and hardware.I think they'd retail for an amount that's close to that of an american '80s Fender.

    How much did yours cost?

Congratulations on the new bass! I just got an American Jazz Deluxe today! Did you get the Plus from Bass NW? They had one I think for around 6 which I thought was a pretty good price. It was natural with no pickguard and three horizontal knobs. I looked and it's not there. How does yours sound?

I used to own one, it sounded pretty good. Very light and small.

  5. I owned one, which is now hanging on the wall at Guitar Villa. It had an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp, which I loved. However, the bass developed a slight dead spot at the 9th fret on the D string (weird, I know), which I couldn't tolerate. With a graphite neck, though, it would be a KILLING bass. . .

I guess it's worth what you paid for it :)

They usually go for about $5-600.
