Really like, but really need a subwoofer more, for the music I'm playing right now.

I am second owner. Original owner swapped out the stock pickups for Lollar pickups. I like the Lollars, they are a different take on the Mustang sound. Original pickups also included.

The original owner also glued a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon on the headstock. Full disclosure. I kept it there.

I did not care for the stock Fender flats and they have been recycled, currently strung with Labella flats.

This bass weighs 7 lbs 12 oz on my digital scale.
If you are not familiar with the specs, here's a link to Fender's site.
    JMJ Road Worn® Mustang® Bass

The bass will ship in a Fender padded guitar gig bag, shown in pics.

$800 shipped within Continental US. No shipping outside CONUS, sorry.
Prefer PayPal. Only interested in a cash sale, unless you have a QSC KS112 subwoofer to trade and you are located in LA (yeah, like that's gonna happen, so cash sale only, please).

If any questions, please start a conversation with me.

Here are recent pics. capturing some of the relic-ing is challenging with a phone camera:

    GLWTS!

As the owner of a KS112, go for a KS212C if you can spring for the extra cost. It is MUCH better.

Are these basses all factory relic’d, or is this custom work? I know I could just google it or just text my buddy JMJ himself (shameless name drop ). But that takes the fun out of engaging with my TalkBass homies.

Hey Branden. @bdeaux The relic-ing is factory. I envision a number of basses being pulled around behind a pickup truck in the streets of Ensenada. Oh well, that's what I envision. At least each bass is somewhat unique in that regard. Good to see you on here.

and think of the good first impressions you'll leave with the ladies due to the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon.

i really love the stock JMJ pickup and also love every Lollar i've owned so this is a particularly killer deal!

  11. Very very nice. These are the best Roadworns from the line imo - best relic work, quality HW and craftmanship. I also have to admit it is most even sounding Mustang I had (and I had 66 and 75 as well) and works great in the band context. GLWTS

Despite the string spacing on the E & A in that second picture...:roflmao: this is a great deal folks! Especially with the two pickups and strings included...also the guitar gig bag looks better suited for the scale length than the one that comes stock with the bass.

yes, the guitar bag fits much better, and has a bit more padding than the standard Fender bass bag.
