2007 Fender Masterbuilt 64 relic Precision Bass. Todd Krause, Masterbuilder to the stars, built a bass for the late T-Bone Wolk to replace his vintage Fender when he did road work with Hall and Oats. I commissioned Todd/Fender to build an exact replica of what he built for T-Bone and this is it. Lightweight Sunburst Reliced alder body finished in nitro-cellulose lacquer. Hand wound pickups Precision and a Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge pickup. Controls are volume only no tone controls. When you hear them you will know why...they have the perfect Fender tone. Neck is quarter-sawn maple with a Indian rosewood fretboard. Nice light figuring on both accounts. Nut width is 1 5/8" (B-width) and plays and feels great. Back of headstock has Todd Krause masterbuilder stamp. There is a small hole on the back of headstock where I installed a strap button. The bass will come with custom shop certificate, brown vintage style hardshell case, case candy and will ship in its original fender carton that I received it in. This bass looks and feels great and sounds even better. I will certainly hate to see it go, I just have to raise some cash for unexpected medical bills. Asking $3500.00 U.S. shipping included. Any serious inquiries please e-mail me directly at [email protected]
So there is a hole where you drilled the strap button, or there is a strap button on the back of the headstock? Might want to post a pic
Unfortunately I had to add the strap peg. I have a neck injury and use a "hootenanny" strap to distribute the weight of my basses a little better. I never thought I would have to sell this bass so it didn't seem like a big deal at the time. Here is a pic with the strap button in. It really doesn't hide the logo and actually makes it more vintage period correct. Thanks for looking!!
