Fender MIA Deluxe Precision or Cort/Elrick RB4

  1. hI TBers I need your opinions on this.I'd like to know which one you would choose.I have always loved Fender P basses and their deep thump.But I hear good things about the RB 4 also.I love the Elrick body style and also the fact it has the active/passive control which the P does'nt have.Also I just don't have the cash for my ultimate Elrick gold standard 4 string. So if anyone can help my deciss :confused: ion making process I would greatly appreciate your insite.Thanks Joe

    I don't think there's any contest. Precision. Elricks are nice basses, but not only is a P a great sounding bass, but you can use a P in just about any kind of music you can think of and never be out of place. And after using active basses for the last 10 years, I'm firmly convinced that passive is the way to go.
