***LAST PRICE DROP for the week. I'll pull this ad and keep it if it's still here Friday!***

Need to move this as I am on the hook for another Lakland and I am ready to pull the trigger on one of Nino's satin finish Verrazzanos!!

Beating Stratosphere pricing on this one and adding (2) guards to offset the missing Yosemite pickups.:bassist::bassist::bassist:

This is a 2018 Fender American Performer Jazz Body in Penny.
I bought this bass complete, NEW not demo, from Sweetwater.
Total playing time on this bass is less than 20 hours.
Can't find a mark on it.
I have owned just about every iteration of MIA Fender Jazz's and they knocked these American Performers out of the park.

Pulled Greasebucket tone circuit (not a fan) and added an orange drop.
Including Fender's OEM "ground plates" that sit under each single coil.
All wiring is complete (bridge ground as well)
Fender Neck Plate and Neck Mounting Screws included
    (3) Guards...
Black/White/Black is OEM Fender and still has protective film
Black Pearl 3-Ply is OEM Fender and no visible scratches
Aged White Pearl 3-Ply is MusicLily and still has protective film

    $400.00 SHIPPED CONUS

    Probably UPS or FEDEX.

Just out of curiosity, do you still have the Greasebucket tone circuit? If so, is it intact?

No longer have it. I was experiencing what my ears identified as a volume drop.
My electronics engineer at work identified a hairline crack in the PCB and I never bothered contacting Fender to replace.

...also of note, this complete bass was the lightest Sweetwater had at the time, as I asked them to pull weights on (4) of them.

    8lbs. 10oz. complete

Right?! I'm in a similar sitch! What especially kills me is that this body would look just as awesome, if not even better, sans pickguard. :banghead:

    Soooooo…copperyyyyyy!

I am a Fender metal-flake finish dork for sure. I have had shoreline gold metallic, jade pearl metallic, candy red metallic and now Penny. This finish, by far, has the most flake in the mix...and YES, without a guard it looks ridiculous. Even considered sending the whole thing to Marty Bell to paint match the headstock! LOL!

Matching headstock? Yeah, that'd be quite a thing, wouldn't it?

I briefly had an MIA Standard Jazz in Jade Pearl Metallic. Sadly, circumstances dictated that I had to let it go. :crying:

I remember a particular model when I first got into playing bass in late 2011. From a distance, it looked like a regular sunburst, but when you got closer, or if the light hit it just right, you could see it was a Copper Burst finish. I didn't think much of it then, but nowadays I'm surprised such a neat finish was available in the MIM Standard range.

Jade Pearl Metallic with the Fender Black Glass Sparkle pickguard was an insane color combo.
    I miss that bass terribly!
