Fender MIM P-Bass pickup upgrades

    hey all! So I have an old Fender P-Bass that I just inherited and after a new set of strings, I feel that sound is lacking quite a bit from what I’d expect from a P-Bass. So I thought I’d try upgrading the pickups instead of just buying a whole new Fender MiUsa.

    I’m not entirely well versed in p-bass pickups and was looking for some suggestions.

    Two that I were looking at were a Fender ‘62 Custom Shop, and the other are Bartolini 8S pickups. Anyone have any experience with them or other suggestions?

    The Seymour Duncan SPB-1 delivers classic P-Bass tone and is relatively inexpensive.
