Fender Musicmaster Bass Amp (Vintage Tube)

Discussion in '[OLD FORUM] Bass Guitars, Amps, and Accessories: F' started by tony moore, Sep 6, 2004.

  1. i bought this about a year ago to record with but recently scored an ampeg sb12, and no longer need it. i can honestly say this is the first vintage tube amp i've bought that didn't need any work! it's also the quietest vintage tube amp i've owned, there is no hum! it's alot louder than what you think 12 watts would be, and i have used it for a few coffeehouse gigs where it sounded wonderful with my glaub (precision). it has a non-original 12" speaker that's handles bass better than the original blue label fender. (you have to turn it all the way up to get it to break up...) it has an open back and doubles as a KILLER amp for guitar or electric piano. it records fantastic. it's a also very light, i'd guess it at about 30lbs. $150 includes insured, ground shipping.
