    Holy Mother Of God.

Last time I was crazy in love like this was with my Rickenbacker. Been playing a MIA P for the past few weeks. This bass is soooooo much richer, fuller, thicker, sweeter, brighter, punchier, and everything in between... been playing lots of basses lately. Gotta admit that only 2 have really blown me completely away. The Ric and this.

$400 of awesomeness in this bass!

Yeah, these little guys have got it going on! Great sounding bass.

My only gripe is the switch. Not the functionality of it but the location.

Little sucker’s got WAY more tone than it should. I find myself playing almost exclusively on the P pickup, which surprises me; I normally favor the “bright” side of the spectrum. That P just sounds really sweet.

I agree. It’s a great sounding bass. My only issue is lack of grounding. Oddly it’s loudest when both pickups are on.
Anyone else have this issue? Is there an easy fix?

I hated this thing right out of the box. The set up was the worst, Adorama was killing me, the pickups were all wonky. I finally settled down and gave it a good set up and some tweaks and I will say this little sucker is a keeper (for as much or long that I keep things). It has load of tone and punch ad is super easy to play.

After I got my first mustang I fell in love and then Got another 30" scale a Lakland Hallow-body and then sold my American Jazz Bass because I have converted to SS Basses! I can have two mustangs for the price of one Jazz! One is strung with flats and one with rounds and what sound can't you get??? The Lakland had a deep deep sound that's its own animal! Oh and a Breedlove 32" scale AGB for practice.

Yeah I Think they all need a setup from MIM side! My Lakland on the other hand has not been touched it came perfect! Of course it was Plecked!

Same issue here it loses its boost when not cranked, I may shield and ground mine better over the winter!

I dodged spending $$$$ a few weeks back. Not sure I can hold out again.

Everyone still happy with their Adorama purchase? @Joe Nerve sounds ready to buy another!

Yes just replaced the bridge and did a setup and intonation. Oils the fingerboard too.

I’ve been thinking of going to a highmass bridge. I prefer the look of the original mustang bridges and I miss them on the PJ.

I guess its worth a try, but I tried that at Musician's Friend and they said they couldn't do it. I really like the surf pearl color though. The reason I asked MF to match price on a different one was just because I wasn't familiar with Adorama.

Read the thread; this was addressed earlier. There are several satisfied customers here, me included.
