Okay, this is sacrificial lamb number one. I've only had it a few weeks. It's an exclusive Sweetwater color--seafoam green and gorgeous. Mint condition. Just restrung with Dunlop Super Bright nickel strings (45 - 105). Included are two extra sets of those same strings (I use lighter gauge strings on everything else). Nice new Fender short scale bass gig bag included. Dunlop straplocks installed (original buttons will be included). Also installed are Lindy Fralin pickups--precision and split j-bass bridge pickup w/5% overwind. If you know anything about Fralin pickups, you know they kick booty and they ain't cheap. These cost ($290) about half of what the bass did. The originals sound fine, but THESE sound thunderous, especially considering the Mustang is a shorty bass. Big, meaty tones from both pickups. The bridge pickup is now perfectly usable soloed, especially with the tone rolled back a bit. The original pickups will also be included in case you need a couple of paper weights.

The weight is just under 8 pounds. There is nothing wrong with this bass. Plays great. Sounds great. Looks great. It honestly sounds just as good as my (VERY good-sounding) P-bass. It's just that I've managed to get myself into another "I HAVE to have this bass" gear-junkie moment. So this little Mustang is being used as a sacrificial lamb in order to defray the cost of a Music Man USA Sterling in a rare color I just have to have. There may be more sacrificial lambs to come. I have way too many basses and some of them are going to have to go... because there is yet another bass I have to have joining the flock (two of them, actually). And I can't justify having so many basses--I'm forcing myself to get rid of a few, even though it pains me. So, I HIGHLY doubt I would do any trade here.

All in all, you are getting about $900 worth of bass here in mint, new, perfect condition. $550 + shipping. Payment via Paypal and only shipped to confirmed address. No international shipping. Lower 48 only.

NOTE: you will have to pay shipping! My zip is 84660. Run your zip and mine through the FedEx calculator to see what shipping would come to (box 50x18x7 at approx 25 pounds). I will provide the box and packing. If the shipping turns out to be less than the estimate on FedEx, I'll refund the extra.

Note: I don't know what that little ball is on the bag in the last photo. It's not really there. Either there was some sort of lens flair moment or the bass is haunted, or both. Any ghosts and/or wayward spirits are included at no extra charge.

Definitely! Classy, fun little bass. If this one or the others I'll probably post do not sell, I won't be heartbroken... it's just that I have the "I have too many basses guilt" thing going right now.

Ha! Yeah, a speck of dust in front of the flash.

Or a ghost of bass strings past.
