This bass retails at $900 with gig bag, and I am selling for $600 shipped within North America. I will not ship outside of North America, sorry. Not interested in trades, trade offers will be politely ignored.

I am seeking to enforce a LIFO 1-in 1-out policy in my collection, and this one is the last one in.
I have owned this bass for less than a month. I love it, but I have my eye on something I think I will love even more. As this has a light relic done at the factory, I find it hard to consider it "like new", but its definitely still "out-of-the-box" fresh and includes all the case candy and a standard-issue Fender gig bag.

Nate Mendel is bass player for Foo Fighters and this is his signature bass.
This is no standard MIM Fender P-bass. It has a number of upgrades to the standard, including:

    - thinner (side-to-side and top-to-bottom) neck (see specs) which is what attracted me to this model in the first place. Its a very comfy neck for those who dislike the 1.75" P-bass neck.
    - Seymour Duncan quarter-pounder pickups for a more aggressive, full, tone
    - nitrocellulose lacquer finish, lightly relic'd (shown in pics below) with enough dings to make an excellent backup bass, or the bass you don't mind taking into sketchy dive bars to play
    - a nicely stripey RW fretboard
    - Badass II bridge - major upgrade versus conventional bent plate bridge
    - Unique Fender/Foo Fighters heel plate, in addition to the conventional Fender heel plate (part of case candy)
    - Strung with Fender rounds (pics show strung with flats, but I needed those on a different bass)

This bass weighs 9 lbs 9 oz, so not on the light side, but no boat anchor either. No noticeable dead spots on the neck and zero neck dive.

Here are the specs from Fender website:

If this was around 3 weeks ago, I would have jumped all over this. If I can get my my G&L sold I still will. Great deal on a solid bass.

I love the look of these. So tempted. Thankfully, it should sell while I waffle over if I should try it or not.

And waffles are something you eat, not what you do when you let great value basses slip through your hands

I wish it was lighter. My current 5 string is under 8 pounds. I've gotten spoiled.
