Chinese tuners. Depends what you mean by real Fender. A Squier is a real Fender.

 

Yeah, Squier neck with a decal. The serial number on the back of the headstock seems to have been partially removed, but looks like it might have started "ICS" = Indonesian Squier.

 

I'm a sucker for aged white basses, looks nice! I don't like fake decals, just because it means that less knowledgeable buyers might get conned somewhere along the line.

Not a fan of the non-black pickups,but that’s a personal pref on my part... I’d say if no one is trying to misrepresent anything, and it’s a player, it’s good to buy.

Love the body with the aged white and creme covers. Very tasty. If it looks nice and plays nice, then it is nice, regardless.

The neck is definitely not fender though, which has already been stated.

 

How can you tell that it's not a Fender neck from just that picture? From what I can see that headstock and neck look just like the one on my 2014 Fender Jazz MIM, and 2015 Fender P Bass MIM. My 2016 Squier CV headstock doesn't look anything like this picture, it doesn't have the big hook on the bottom side.
