I've switched to short-scale basses exclusively, otherwise I'd never be parting with this.

(Note: this neck isn't a direct fit for regular Fender neck pockets. You'll need a Lyte body, or be willing to have a luthier fit it to your pocket. I'm keeping the body to fit a short-scale neck onto it.)

Great shape, light, high quality all around. Straight, truss rod moves freely.

    $275 loaded

  2. 22 fret with overhang so it would work on a fender body /mounting holes would have to be redrilled?

I don't have lots of experience with fitting necks, but maybe someone who does could chime in ?

Can you provide the width of the neck at the widest neck pocket mounting point? Thanks!

    Hi--I don't have calipers. With a tape measure it's just a hair over 2 & 3/8"

MIJ in the hallowed year of 1985, considered among the golden years of Fender MIJ

    Frets good?

Dimensions from nut to heel and nut to overhang?

Frets are excellent. Light wear in meat and potatoes area.

24 & 15/16ths from the inside edge of nut to the end of the overhang.

It's trickier to measure to the heel. But the distance between the forward-most part of the heel & the end of the overhang is 3/16ths. So 24 & 3/4s from forward-most part of heel to inside edge of nut, if my math is right.
