Which of Fender Precision basses has the smallest width at the nut. I know that the Jazz is 1.5. Is there a fender pbass that has a nut width that is close to that measurement?

The Nate Mendel and Duff models are slightly smaller than 1.75. I think 1.625. The P bass specials were 1.5 I think.

Mike Dirnts, too, are more narrow than the general modern P.

    From top to bottom:
    1974 'A' neck (1 1/2" at the nut)
    1974 'B' neck (1 5/8" at the nut)
    1965 'C' neck (1 3/4" at the nut)

Through Fender's new American Design Experience, you can build P bass with a Jazz neck. Or you could buy a Lakland.

Closest thing to Jazz bass width is the Nate M neck at 1.61
