fender p bridge cover

  1. I've got an 80's Japanese P on the way to me, and I think I want to put a bridge cover on it. Just because I think it looks cool.

I'm looking on ebay, but I'm not sure if it will fit. Are they all the same dimensions? I assume that the jazz ones are different than the p?

As long as you have a stock bridge, the cover will fit.

And yes, the Jazz cover is much different from the Precision.

  4. i had ordered a new custom with a P cover. unfortunately, the cover seems to get in the way for many players, and i ended up taking mine off too. they do look cool though. and yes, the p and j covers are quite different, with different mounting holes also. :)

  5. I vote for BOTH covers! :D

I haven't played any P's without both covers installed. I don't know how you couldn't get used to them.
But I must admit, in the end it's only cosmetical...

  7. +2 for both covers. it's not as hard as you think to get used to either playing near the neck or the in b/w the 2 covers. yessss, looks so cool!
