Fender p/j basses

    Is this the only good p/j bass that will make Duff(gnr) sound??

    anyone recommend me like which prices .,.. sry

    That will make Duff sound what?

    Seriously, He uses DiMarzio pickups, but there's not much callinng for a "Duff" sound. Any good Fender like sound will do.

    He used Jazz Bass Special's from the 80's, all passive. A modern Aerodyne should do the trick, or anything of the sort, as long as it's passive.

    yah i have a p/j with dimarzios in them and its uncanny how much the sound resembles his (which is what i was also going for). passives with lots of gain/tone turned all the way up. and if you want to go all the way throw on some rotosound strings cuz thats what he uses too.
