fender parts on a profile bass?

Discussion in 'Luthier's Corner' started by lizard_king_21, May 30, 2005.

  1. I have a profile professional bass.
in honestly cannot tell the difference between mine and an old fender precision, the pickups, pickguard, tuning machines, knobs, bridge... everything looks exactly the same
i am wondering if you could tell me for sure if fender parts will fit my bass or if you know of any one who could tell me. i need to be completely certain. I only ask because i need some parts for mine and profile parts are becoming very hard to find. if fender parts fit my life will be a whole lot easier.

    thanks in advance

no clue. get a ruler and make a bunch of measurements, and compare them to fender specs.
