I have a fender bass guitar and want to put a vintage chrome pickup cover on it. How would I do so? Thanks:)

  2. Well it's easy, buy one, drill holes and mount it. They are simple to install. If you want a vintage one, call around to some guitar stores and see if the parts guy has one layin around in a pile.

I live in the UK but recently got genuine fender covers and vintage pickguards from a USA supplier - www.angela.com

    Very good service

would the jazz bridge cover would fit over my badass II?

  6. No. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit over the Badass II.

  7. My MIJ 75 RI has a cover over the the Badass 2 bridge.

    But not on mine.

I think it's one of those "your mileage may vary" things.

Can't figure out why anyone would want to put the "ashtrays" back on their bass, but hey, to each his own.

I still have the covers for my '78 J-Bass -- anyone who wants them can have them.

    JCADMUS,
I don't know how serious you are about giving away the ashtrays.. but if you are.. I'd love 'em.

I'm gonna get some somewhere eventually....
