Just looking for some quick advice here. I bought a new Fender Player P (the marketing departments way of saying MIM) from a reputable and authorized dealer. I knew the colour I wanted which wasn't on the showroom floor but in stock on their website. The gentleman at the store said he pulled it out of the box in the back. The bass feels great and comfortable which is definitely better than any other MIM I remember playing in the past. Problem is, I realized that all "Player Series" are advertised to have the "F logo" on the neck-plate. I checked the serial and it comes up as it should - a Fender Player P which matches the serial on my receipt. While I don't necessarily care about such a fine detail no one but me will see, I am questioning if maybe some other hardware might have been switched by the store? Or is this something that can get missed when manufactured? Should I do anything? While I didn't buy a bass to resell it...it might hurt the resell value?
