Here we have a 1978 “Antigua Burst”(haters gonna hate) fretless P-Bass. Rosewood fingerboard, "C” shape maple neck. This was my main bass for some pretty tour heavy years, which shows, cosmetically speaking. There are dings here and there (none of which effect playability) and sadly, the pick guard cracked at the input. My tech did a fine job reassembling it, which we decided to do as these Antigua P-Bass pick guards are pretty near impossible to find. The input is now fully functional, stronger than before, as its now reinforced with a thin metal layer below the pick-guard. All that aside, the bass sounds FANTASTIC. Plus, I just had the truss rod adjusted and the neck shimmed so the action is now as fast as its ever been. Super fun to play.
I've been on TB a loooooong time and I've never seen a vintage antigua factory fretless. Sweet. GLWTS.
I actually don't know the weight and don't have a working scale at the moment. Sorry. Though its light compared to my other P. I'd say under 9lbs.
