Fender Precision Pickups

Hi Everyone,

Happy to be on TB after realizing the awesomeness of BASS. Longtime TGP member and gear head but just getting my bearings on classic bass pickups. As always, I usually do a thorough search before asking these questions and starting a redundant thread wasting people’s time, but strangely I can’t find anything that answers the following:

what are the tonal differences between all the pickup options from Fender for a P bass, specifically between:

-‘57 variant
-‘59 variant
-60’s variant
-‘62 variant
-‘63 variant
-the ‘65-‘70 option on some CS models
