I want a second bass and I'm considering another Roscoe Beck 5 but I saw the new American deluxe
5 on the Fender site and it's a beauty. Also what do you think of the Mike Lull vintage 5? Are they worth the money? Is it really better than a good Fender?
  2. The only complaint I've heard about Lulls are that they're clunky, even the Jazzes... however, I've never actually played one, so I don't have any personal experience with them.
  3. RB5 for a production Jazz, Lakland for an expensive boutique bass.

You won't go wrong with a RB5. IMO it's the best mid-price production five out there.
