fender replacement vintage tuners

Discussion in 'Hardware, Setup & Repair [BG]' started by Rowan_Jazz_Head, Nov 19, 2003.

  1. i was on bass parts resource.com and saw they had fender vintage tuners for sale. I was wondering would they fit on my American 2001 standard jazz bass with out any hassles or modification or would holes have to be drilled or something simmiler. I would love to have vintage, long stemed, reverse tuners but I don't really want to start making holes to fit them (making holes in the body for the scratch plate is one thing but i think i will draw the line at the head stock) if there are any other companys that make vintage long stem tuners that will fit without mods on a american standard, let me know. thanks.
