Here's one that I will regret putting up for sale--but it doesn't fit the music style I'm playing now, and is not getting enough playing time. I bought this on TB a few years ago, and am now looking to release it back to the community so it can be used and enjoyed. This is a Fender Road Worn Precision, with a nitro refinish. The original fiesta red finish was professionally stripped, and a LPB nitro finish was applied. The body does not have the RW relic-ing, so it is ready for you to put your own wear on it. It does have a couple of small chips and dings, as part of its normal life on the road. Otherwise, the bass is all stock. Neck is great--very playable and smooth. Strung with Fender 9050L flatwounds. Weight is right around 8.5 pounds. Looking to get $650, shipped in a gig bag, but feel free to make an offer. Photos are from the previous seller, but it looks the same now. I can provide new pix if needed. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
I never thought I'd see this bass again. Hmmm... Might have to find a way to purcahse This is one of the best sounding P-Basses I have owned. I had it refinished several years ago when I owned it. It is indeed Lake Placid Blue with a very thin finish.
It seems that LPB comes in a fairly wide range of tones, and this one *is* a deeper and darker blue than some I've seen. Not sure what 'typical' is, though.....
