Alright, I went to GC the other day, and was checking out the used gear and a new P-bass caught my eye, the S-1 switch sticker on the pickguard and I had to give it a whirl. The S-1 switches from parallel to series and is cleverly hidden within the volume pot on the bass, seems a bit fragile, but nevertheless worth a look. I noticed a part number on the sticker, but didn't bother to write it down or anything, any dealers have one available to give me the part number? Is it anything available aftermarket yet?

I'm thinking that I may put one in my Sheehanized P-bass, so I can not only get the EBO tone, but the P in either series or parallel for added versatility. Either that or I drop in a second push/pull pot.

Which offers the last question...doesn't it do the same thing as a push/pull?
