is there a source that will help me identify this Jazz Bass. It’s a stack knob version. 2E188F70-BD11-4D91-9C80-12AA08E09A0F.jpeg 2E188F70-BD11-4D91-9C80-12AA08E09A0F.jpeg 2E188F70-BD11-4D91-9C80-12AA08E09A0F.jpeg

Just saw a 1994 '62 usa reissue jazz bass with V073XXX ser. number on the neckplate (the seller says it's a '96 avri jb) on reverb.com. However Fender web site says:. The only way to definitively date U.S. instruments with “V”-prefix serial numbers is to remove the neck and check the butt end of the neck heel for a production date, which may be stamped or written there.

Does that say Jun 18 1995 in the neck pocket?

  6. V000... - V016... 82-84 Vintage ReIssue Made in Fullerton
around V016/V017... - until today American Vintage ReIssue Corona
Some V03.... are used at early Custom Shop Models in 1987

This one looks like an typical AVRI Corona 1995 (grain see through, dark pickguard, no ashtray holes) model.

  7. Cool looking bass though, I'm curious if the road ware is natural or was done custom though?
