Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by FunkyFlashFive, Aug 3, 2007.

  1. i just finished helping one of my guitarist friends fix an old Fender cab that was pulled out of a dumpster by another acquaintance. it has 4 8s in a configuration like this:
    ( )
    ( )
    ( )
    ( )

it also says that it is solid state.
is this old school or what?!

It sounds like Fender PA columns from 1969.
They came with four 10's or four 12's.
    The one with 10's was 60 1/2H x 13W x x 9 1/2D.
I don't know the power handling, but the PA head was 105 watts RMS and was normally used with two columns.
  3. sweet, that sounds about right. i'll have to measure it next time i'm jamming with them
