    Price:
    $750
    Strings:
    4
    Location:
    Florida
    Country:
    United States
Relist as I'm purging all but 3 basses.

This listing also INCLUDES the original Shure preamp, pickups and knobs. (Hence the price bump)

Here's another beauty in rare, minty condition. This bass will certainly help those who need to move to a 32" scale, (obviously).

    NO TRADES, Paypal.

    Upgrades:
Bartolini 9J-LN1 in the neck position and a 9J-L1 in the bridge.
Noll TCM 2-band preamp seals the deal. Much better than the stock pickups and Sure 2-band preamp. I installed the side jack so I could add the 3 knob preamp.
Gotoh 201 bridge for more sustain and beef! (Black)

Includes a USA Urge II PG modified to fit perfectly! (Original BWB pg not avail.)

24 Frets in Excellent condition, and a 32" scale makes for some easy fretting. This bass plays like butter.
Setup w/Fender Med scale Nickel wounds.

Neck is a slim 1.5" at the nut and has excellent frets.

7.5lbs. No case but will be professionally packed for shipping.

$750 Plus actual shipping. Firm on price. Con USA only No Trades

Is that the jack that was included with the Noll preamp or did you have to modify it?

Very curious as to what difference that makes? If Noll includes a switchcraft basic 3/4" jack but I can only fit a 1/2" Barrel jack into the bass, then a Barrel jack is needed. So you answer your question, no, it's Not a modified jack, it's a Switchcraft 152b barrel jack from Switchcraft. I only use good parts. Thx.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I ask because of something I read about the Noll preamp in a previous thread, namely:

"If you go for Noll, pay attention on the output jack's type. Noll fits their preamps with either 3-pole or 9-pole output jacks, depending on a particular preamp's configuration. The problems appear when your instrument is provided "by default" with a 3-pole jack BUT you have to install the 9-pole...it's a heck of a job." (Noll bass preamp ?)

I was not sure if changing or modifying the output jack would affect the functionality of the preamp. Please excuse my ignorance.

Eh, no problem. Yes, any stereo 3 pole jack does the trick for the TCM2

Does this one have the normal 2.5" wide neck pocket?

No, this is not the norm, it's a 32" scale. Width at the 24th fret is 2.458"
