I got this neck on theVerb about a month ago. I planned to replace the Dot Inlays neck on my 1982 Jazz. I also thought about drilling it for 4 Bolt use, to use it with the another MJT body... I decided against relicing this beauty, especially since it's almost untouched. Frets are easily in 9.8, out of 10 condition. Truss Rod turns smoothly. I haven't been able to find any dings. Verb seller said it was a Lemon Oil stain, at the top of the headstock. Not sure how.... since this thing is coated in poly. I believe this series also had Graphite Rods in the neck. Sweet vintage tint with Maple board and aged blocks and binding.

Unlike the Japan 75 Reissue, this one has the correct, TV (wave) logo. It looks like the neck Marcus Miller uses on his "road replacement" bass for his, infamous, 1977 Jazz. I would keep it, if I found a cheap 3 bolt Fender body, or if I found a 70s Pickup Spacing Jazz Bass body worthy enough to re-drill it for 4 bolt use.

I paid $550 plus $33.00 for Tax, but Your PayPal Payment Gets It Shipped via USPS Priority Mail, or FedEx Ground, To Your Lower 48th US state. Not interested in any trades - Thank you.

i feel like i should just buy it because AVRI 70s necks rarely come up for sale by themselves!

Yep, coming across them is kinda rare.
It didn’t come with tuners, but I have a set of Fender Road Worn tuners that fit :) They’re more like, Barely Worn tuners. Not nearly as worn as the Gotoh FB30 Aged sets.

are they nate mendel tuners? because i think the 60s road worn tuners have a different pattern.
