    Hi guys!
I have a dilemma between these two basses. I know both are great instruments but the difference in price is significant 900 EUR vs 1600 EUR. Is the 700 EUR difference worth it?

It's hit or miss, especially with these big price gap Fenders. Plenty of folks love their Vintera. Plus, you'd be left with budget to get new pickups and a great setup, if need be. Can you afford the American? If so, do it. You'll have a beautiful bass. If it's a question of being financially able? Vintera all day.

Or find a nice used bass on the classifieds and win both ways.

Until yesterday I was definitely thinking of buying Vintera 50's, but suddenly saw a good offer for American Original 50's in a local music store...the price for AO 50's is quite attractive 1600 EUR (regular price is around 2000 EUR). Theoretically I can afford it but I don't want to overpay. In terms of sound I think they will be quite the same, not sure about built quality.
I personally own two basses: American Standard P bass'2015 and Vintera 60's Jazz Bass.
