I found these on the German Fender website this morning. From the specs and prices it looks like Fender are replacing/rebranding the MiM "Classic" Series with a new "Vintera" series of basses (and guitars). {} {} {} {}
Some nice colors, especially the P bass in sea foam green! But the use of pao ferro on the Jazzes and the Mustang puts me off a little.
It's getting harder for me to tell the difference in fenders models. I try to read to find out, but the website is so full of market speak, it's hard to see what the difference is.
Looks like this was released prematurely. The Fender website search no longer has any results for "Vintera"... The product pages are still available though, I'll post some details.

@antfarm cool find, I’m liking the colors. Particularly interested in the 70s Jazz in that grey tone, can you post a few more pics/specs of that?
Links to the pages on Fender GB site... Vintera '60s Jazz Bass® | Electric Basses Vintera '70s Jazz Bass® | Electric Basses Vintera '60s Mustang Bass® | Electric Basses Vintera '50s Precision Bass® | Electric Basses Still a bit flaky though, not all the colours options are opening correctly.
Oh, very cool! Shame they didn't stretch to Nitro, but from previous Fender models that's a bit much to hope for at those price points. I love the 60s Mustang though! If it's essentially the JMJ in non-relic colour options, from personal experience I'll say it'll be a really nice bass with a set of flats on it. One of my big gear-ownership regrets has always been selling my cream/tort MiJ mustang in that configuration... It was a fantastic instrument, and I don't know what I was thinking letting it go. With that in mind, I might have to look into the little red number there once these hit retail.
Are they in any way different from the gazillion of Fender models that all look the same? What if someone wants to go to a shop and says ...'I want a P-bass or a 60's Jazz...' That's all most of the people I speak with want. And then they are confronted by this flood of stuff. Easier to just have one built to spec.
