Has anybody heard something about Fenix Basses (by Young Chang)? I've found a glem/metal looking electric bass (the model is - more or less - pj 91, but i'm not sure 100%).
Looking for Fenix on the web I've found a lot of expencive semi-hollow guitars and pianos (by Young Chang), but nothing concernig electric bassses.
    Can you help me?

Ok... new question: have you ever seen a Fenix (electric bass)? How did it look?

    Hi Umberto,

Yep! When I was younger, my school bought a Fenix "Jazz Bass". Body was std. J, but the head was slightly different headstock.

The color was metallic green and the Pickguard Tortoise Shell.

Please let me know, how this ends :D

  4. I realize this is a little late, but I have a Fenix bass...
    It's a typical J-bass, 5-string.
It works pretty well, but the tuners are kind of cheesy - they come apart if I don't re-tighten the little screws every string change.
It's possible to set the action very low without buzz, and the neck stay straight.
I've had it about 8 years and it's still going strong.
Have a look at it on: http://www.davesdeli.se/fieldflower/pics/Fenix_01.jpg
