Looking to move this modern classic. Japanese made APB 90. P/J config with original FGI pups. Body, electronics, bridge, tuners all good, but apparently the truss rod is maxed and the neck has a bow to it. Would be good for parts, practice, or if you dig high action. It does function, but may not be for everyone. Relisted and discounted due to issues. Thanks.
Can u post a pic looking down the neck to show just how much bow there is for those of us that like high action...or maybe post a measurement of the action at 12th fret? Like are we talking Jamerson action or what? Also what limitations would there be as far as strings you can and can't use? I imagine you'd have choose strings with a certain tension due to limited truss rod adjustment
Happy to post, but it will take a couple of days. I've got pretty heavy rw strings on it now, and I'd have to think it would improve with lighter gage strings. Honestly, the action never bothered me, and I think it would be fair to say it is funk machine-esque.
What strings are on there now? Also I can't tell from pics......is that battery compartment screw off or can it just be flipped off with your thumb?
