Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by Eric Cioe, Mar 31, 2004.

  1. The 612 Scaglietti is georgeous. I saw one at the International Autoshow in Toronto Ontario in February.

There is a raw, emotional vibe about Ferraris. At times the numbers don't stack up and the prices get way out of control but the sound of those engines... wow.

All due respect to the mighty, all-powerful McLaren F1 which will forever own *any and all* exotic road-going supercars in terms of performance.

Though not a supercar, I honestly think I might rather have one of these:
(It's got a convertible hard top)

But in the price range of the SLR, I'd rather have the Porsche Carrera GT:
comes with a real manual transmission, too.

As far as Ferrari's go, the 355 is one of the best sounding cars I have ever heard. Given the choice between a 355 and 360, I'd go with the 355 just for the sound.

Maybe it's me, but I like my Ferraris red (although, black works too). All Ferraris are beautiful, but here's my favorite piece of Italian machinery...

I used to spend all of my free time rubbing it with a diaper.

    ;) :D
