  1. I recently learned from posts here about Washburn Intl. buying Eden Electronics. Without me having to do a search on every forum here and on TBL (or others), can anyone fill me in on what (apparently) happened, or why Nordschow went that way? Was the company on the verge of financial collapse, or is this just a well-timed business opportunity?

Ill be the first to say do some research next time.

Just typing in "Eden Washburn" will get you plenty of results if you dont feel like searching manually.

What you are basically doing is asking us to do work that you dont feel like doing. You wont get many responses like that, and it doesnt help your reputation.

Well anyways, Ill help you since you are new.

On the front page of this website there is alink to the official announcement, and there are several threads here about it.

    Ill even post the links:

    From the front page:

    From the amps forum:

There is a ton of info in those links. Im sure you'll find what you need.

    Peace

  4. Gee, Nick, thanks for the links. I hope you didn't over-exert yourself with all the "work" you had to do. Indeed, I am new to the forum, but as the working definition of forum suggests, it's a place for casual conversation, i.e., people who want to converse about whatever comes to mind in a given thread (within reason). If you don't want to converse, I'd suggest refraining from feeling like you have to administer some sort of snobbish "Internet justice" to the unsuspecting. I think reputation is as reputation does, my friend.

Well, everything that you need to know was in the threads that Nick linked in his post. This was a subject of great discussion for several weeks. There is not really a need for a brand new series of discussions.
