Has anyone tried mods on an EHX Q-Tron?

I'm interested in two things - (1) making it true bypass, and (2) putting an output volume control on it. I bought a volume pedal to even out the difference in volume between the clean and wet signals, but I think it'd be easier to have one right on the pedal. There's plenty of room on the face for another knob.

Also, I think adding an effects loop would be cool, but then I might as well buy a Q-Tron+.

I did a few searches on this topic but didn't find anything in the archives... I've also searched the web and not come up with much. This is a cool article, though :

  2. doing either of these to a moogerfooger lowpass filter would be awesome!
