This began life as an MTD Kingston Saratoga (to be clear, this is the import version, made in China) with the transparent black finish. I decided I didn't like the color, so I had it painted and put in a ton of upgrades. Plays great and sounds great. But even after all the upgrades, I prefer my Kiesel IC4 these days when I want a 4-stringer, so this one's going up for sale. All upgrades and paint were professionally done, with the exception of the tuners, which I put in because they were drop-ins. It has only seen use at one practice and a couple home jams since I had all the work done, so everything is in excellent condition cosmetically. Two very small dings on the headstock, shown in the picture. Here are the upgrades: Custom paint: Professionally done by a local shop. Color is British Racing Green with blackburst edges. Came out a little bit lighter than I was expecting, but still looks cool. Hipshot B-style bridge, 19mm string spacing Gotoh 20:1 tuners Bartolini 9J1 L/S hum cancelling pickups Bartolini 3.3AP onboard preamp (9v) - Active/passive push/pull volume, blend, bass, treble. Note that the treble and bass controls were originally stacked, but I had them split because the profile was too high for my tastes. Chrome knobs - There is a slight difference between the volume and blend knobs, and the treble and bass knobs. Schaller strap locks (both sides will be included) Includes the pictured padded gig bag. I'll calculate exact shipping based on your location. Here are the original specs that are still relevant. Features: Carved Basswood body Asymmetrical, One-piece maple neck Double action truss rod Buzz Freiten Tuning System Maple Fingerboard 34-inch scale 21 medium jumbo frets Zero fret 1.75" wide 8.5 lbs on a postal scale Any questions, ask away!
