Well, a used bass, but it's new for me!

It's a 2002 Fender American Deluxe V! Natural finish, ash body (from what I can tell), and man it's great! I'm gonna have to put new strings on it though, and set the action, but after that this thing should be awesome! I sold my old bass about a month ago, and I've been going insane because I haven't had anything to play on.

As always, here's a picture to let you guys know that this, in fact, exist.

That was the only one I could get in before the batteries in my camera died. I'll take more tomorrow when I'm not tired and there's better lighting out. So just drool over that one until tomorrow!

It's really the only wrench. My other bass is a Squier P-bass, and the neck is so bowed on that thing. But thanks for the kind words!

Nice piece of rosewood on that fingerboard.

Nice looking bass. I played a couple of MIA Fender V's up until I got my Sadowsky 5. My 2 5ers are currently unfortunatly on eBay!

Great all around basses! Very versitile. I played everything from metal to funk and classic rock.

    Congrats, nice looking 5'er.
  12. Great grab! I'm always wondering why Fender doesn't consistently have Natural finishes of their high-end production models (American and American Deluxe Jazz and Precision) - even if there's a $100-200 upcharge for better quality 2-piece bodies, I'm sure there would be more than enough people to buy them.

And here's an up close of my fretboard and the inlays. Pretty sweet:

Is it? It was listed as rosewood, but I honestly thought it was Pau Ferro when I first saw it because it looks lighter in color.
