well, the bass is a '92 streamer stage I with alembic electronics/pu's. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1466788572
this bass is def. the best bass i've ever played. the sound is great and the feel is better. i must say that i am so happy with this purchase. it was def. worth all the other basses it took to get here. the price was right and the guy shipped it overnight air so i didn't even feel funny about purchasing it. i can't wait to jam with this bass this afternoon. i have just played it alone for 2 20 min. periods. man, good stuff, i'm back in here. thanks, for listening to my garbage, ryan

Congradulations on your new bass! It looks really nice. Keep us informed when you get a chance to really give a good test drive.

Funnily enough, I walked into my local music store today and they had one just like this on the wall that they were selling "used" for £999. Usually they don't have anything worth buying and I was very tempted as it looked great, but I think it was just a little over-priced. I think I will wait and see if it's still there after a week or two and "negotiate" ;)

Congratulations, Ryan, that is very nice!:)

If I owned a Warwick, it would either be a Dolphin or a Streamer Stage I. Those are the only 2 basses that they make that I like.

And a 1992! Back when they were all hand built, and has the brass just-a-nut. Sweet!

HOLY COW!!! wow, i just got done jamming with my buddies and wow. this bass does everything i want it to do when i want it to do it. it almost captures that top 40 tone, but with a hint of warwick. we were just going to jam for about an hour or so (someone had a night class), but we just kept going. everyone loved the bass. it's like when you've got the best lookin' girl in the city and you take her out just to show everyone...or..umm.. i don't know what that's like, but if i did. i don't think i could have done any better in this purchase though. i had heard that the ssI didn't go as low as the ssII, but it must be the hand built quality or alembics, 'cause this thing can shake a room down. anyways, i am just really really excited i finally found my instrument. latz
