Finally, GOOD pics of my Rev.

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by dancehallclasher, Jun 23, 2004.

  1. Taken with a decent camera in natural light. Because the bass deserves it.

Chromy goodness! Lens flare not added in photoshop:

So there's a little grass in my case. I AM a musician, after all:

This pic reminds me of the 2001 monolith. Coincidentally, this is an '01 instrument.

    Nice, huh? I thought so.

Congrats my friend. I have been meaning to check those out sometime. Of course, I also want to check out a Musicman, Sadowsky, Lakland, Peavey Cirrus, Zon and Modulus.
Someday they will all be mine. Maybe in 50 years.
    It never ends.
  6. Very sexy. Good pics.

  8. Those Reverends fascinate me. Thats a Brad Houser right? I hear those have some of the best necks ever.

    Very nice pictures.

    (Nice bass too.)
  11. you have to upload it to a hosting service and put the address in img tags.

thanks for the comments guys, i have to give a lot of credit to my camera which tends to capture some great shots. the guy who developed them asked if i was selling it! (no way)
  12. Nope, that's not a Brad Houser, it's a Rumblefish XL. The mini-toggle is a series/parallel/single coil switch, that makes it an XL. The Housers are only available as 5's and they have 2 humbuckers, each with the s/p/sc switching option.

That bass is a beauty, my next one will either have your color scheme or Moroccan Gold. Mine is the somewhat more subdued Navy Blue with silver pickguard.

I dig. Are you still with Zack Morrissey? Any more clips you can give us?
  17. physically, it slaps fine, but soundwise it's not really meant for that. semihollows in general have a certain attack and mid quality that don't sound like what slap is "supposed to be" i guess. i never slap, but if i wanted to do a brief slap passage it would be good enough.

i'm not with zack morrissey anymore but i'm playing for the lovely & talented Carol Bui. here's a song from the new CD:

this summer we're playing in DC, Red Bank, Baltimore, and Manhattan. PM me for more info.
  18. What color is your RumbleFish dancehallclasher?
