Man this sounds deep and punchy when both pups are soloed, just like I was looking for, almost Rickish. However when I put the selector switch in the middle for both pups, it sounds tinny and a big loss of volume, and also kind of distorts, it is not a nice setting, any suggestions.

Also I think it looks amazing now

Sounds like a phase issue. Try reversing the lead and ground wires on the neck pickup and all should be well.

    good luck!

I was thinking that. So if I remember my theory correctly I believe these would be out of phase? I just want to know for sure for when I call my tech

that's what it was. My tech used a diagram for a telecaster 6 string and reversed the polarity

It sounds AMAZING now. Like a Fenderbacker lol I made a new word

It's rough but here is a sound clip

1st part is the P bass pup
    2nd part is both
3rd part is the 51 Quarter Pounder in the neck position

I should have gone with a Ric neck pup, would have looked better, but the tech routed and installed the pup so the poles were directly under each string. I may still change the pup to a Ric abd get a new pg, but I love the sound of it now. Kind of Rickish, especially with both pups on

  10. I kind of like it like that! Get a J or MM in the bridge position. :)

I thought about a humbucker in the bridge position, but that might be a little greedy :D

    Thanks Photoshop!!
