I want to say thank you to all of you for your patience.
    Finally I've a new baby.
It's Peavey Cirrus 6 string. I paid it 1600 euro, almost 1600 dollars.
    Here are some photos.

From one Cirrus owner to another, nice Cirrus.

What are the two extra strings for? Mine only has four. :D

What amp are you pushing that thing through?

You will be extremely happy with it, even if you did have to pay a little premium. It's like a boutique bass anyway.

In his part of the world, that is probably the normal price.

Very nice, Alla. Glad to be of help. I hope you like playing it as much as I like mine. My 6 is my favorite bass right now. It is more playable than most 5 strings I have played, and gets one of the best slap tones of any bass I have ever heard.

    I've a Warwick ccl combo 250 watt.
I know is not a great system, but has a beautifull sound, warm and full

I think you'll find the transistion from 4 to 6 strings fairly easy.

I changed from a Fender P-Bass Lyte (4 string) to a Cirrus 5, and had very little trouble making the change. I spent maybe 2-3 hours practicing songs I expected to be playing the next weekend, and when actually playing with the band, had very little trouble playing the Cirrus 5 (and I'm a relatively new bass player of about 14 months experience). I still have the Fender, and I've not played it since getting the Cirrus in July. Of course making use of the 6th string will take some practice, but I expect it won't come into use too frequently, except when soloing, etc.

BTW, I absolutely LOVE the Cirrus. It plays like a dream, and the tone is awesome! Fantastic instrument!
