Finger length vs agility, who has the shortest finger?

Welcome and thank you for your service. What we do with what we have is the important thing. I two have small hands, but, I've learned how to use them.

 

Victor Wooten has tiny hands. I held mine up to his and I think my fingers were almost a full inch longer. And he makes do.

 

yep i met steve bailey many years ago and said i loved bass but my hands were too small. he held his up to mine and we were almost the same! he kills it on a six string. the stretch just develops over time.

 

Measured how?

 

Stubbiness. It's usually inherited from the father's side.

Comedy aside, as someone affected, it's a challenge but not a deal breaker.

 

Exactly. My middle fretting finger is 3 1/8" if you go from the inside. It seems like every other guy's hands look like giant hands compared to mine. But I can play just fine.
