Fingerboard repair/luthier in Denver area

Discussion in 'Setup & Repair [DB]' started by Sound Guy Paul, Aug 29, 2003.

  1. hey guys I just had my bass shipped out here to Denver where I am going to school, and I noticed that the small gap in the neck had grown substantially. I had this fixed, twice back in Dayton, but unfortunately it showed up again both times, but the second time substantially smaller. Should I even bother to have this fixed? It doesnt not seem to affect tone or sustain, as far as I can tell, and it doesnt buzz. I was told by a guy who claimed to be the only Bass luthier in the area, that I would most likely have to have the whole thing redone if I wanted it to be done right. If anyone has any suggestions for what I could do, or know of any other luthiers here in Denver so I could get a second opinion, that would be awesome. Thanks Alot!
