Hi Guys, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, Mods please feel free to move :)
    I just purchased a 1978 Ric 4001
I would like to know if anyone knows the Kind of wood used for the Fingerboards back then?
My guess is either Pau Ferro or perhaps Bubinga! its not that theres anything wrong I am just curious. BTW the bass sounds wonderful very smooth with plenty of growl ..... my new #1
