I examined my bass again the other day, finally I found where it hit the ground and cracked the finish. :(

Now I don't know if I just wanna eat it or complain to the band that knocked it over. It's not a big crack. But I kinda hate it because it's the first one.

Do cracks in the finish grow over time? Is there some maintenance I should do now to protect it? Clear nail polish? Talk to a witch doctor? *sigh* Advice welcome! :(

Uggg....that happen to me...I was goofing around talking about how Fieldy is gay, and rotated my bass like he does. Well it turns out Ricks have really small strap locks and it fell right out of my strap to nail the hell out of the actually hit carpet...but the lower horn hit a music stand. Put a nice crack in my finish and I broke my cord...I panicked when i saw it falling...freaked me out.
