I am finishing up a build, it is a fretless bass with a Jatoba fingerboard. I was planning to use a Tung oil finish for the body/neck and I would like to use the same finish on the fingerboard.

I tried searching but couldn't find much on the Jatoba. Does anyone see any issues with using Tung oil or do I need to do something to make it hold up better? I am planning on using flats on the bass and possibly trying ground wounds. I don't think I would use a regular rounds.

By the way, I have Minwax Tung oil. I know this isn't true Tung oil.
