I have just bought a used Streamer LX, which is in urgent need of a bit of TLC.... i am currently sanding it down ready to be refinished, what should i choose.

    examples would be great.

    Black stain, chrome hardware.

  4. I voted solid colour, and I like white Streamers. Like this one:

oh oh oh... WHITE WHITE WHITE!!

If you could have that white sparkling thing , it would be just perfect...

    "what?!?"
you know.. that finish which is featured in the warwick catalog that WE warwick fans know so good :D :D :D

  6. Well you know what I would say, but it's not like anyone's opinion here is going to sway your course anyhow.

THIS HAS BEEN THE ONLY POST IN MY SHORT TIME HERE THAT HAS NEEDED ME TO BUST OUT THE EXTREMELY ANNOYING CAPITOL LETTERS. MOST DEFINITELY KEEP IT NATURAL, ITS SO BEAUTIFUL. LET ITS BEAUTIFUL SIMPLICTY COMPLIMENT YOUR GOOD PLAYING, NOT OVERPOWER IT.

NATURAL all the way. I don't think natural oil looks that good on any bass other than a Warwick!

i do like natural finish.... but it looks like an ugly bit of wood (warwick must have had a bad day).

I do quite fancy a pearl white finish..... ill look into that... what color hardware with a white body???

I think the neck is going to mr sims for leds too.... electric blue i think? :)

Its gonna be my 'pimp' bass

  12. Then there's no other option than gold hardware, is there? ;)
Also, gold would look better than chrome or black metal parts, IMO. The brushed aluminum/titanium look could be cool as weel, but I'd still pick gold.

    Heh! I'd go for All-Black-Hardware.
Just imagine it... pups are black, black is a perfect contrast to *white*...
But this is only my opinion :)

Actually I've some thoughts and plans on a 5/6 string fretless (in a not too eraly future) Gecko, all white.
I fell in love with white machines after seeing Nathan East's machine, but it would be even better with all black hardware - see it and picture the change :D

Does Mr Sims have a website? online info?

    Keep us posted ;)

I'm a solid color guy...and if you want more detail, I prefer the grey scale. (White, Black and every shade of grey and silver in between, including chrome :D)
