Firebass 700

    Firebass owners: If you turn your amp up to about 9 does it start sounding kinda bad? Mine used to be fine up there, but after I added another cab (dropping it to 2 ohms) I can't really turn it past 6. Is this normal, or is something busted? I don't think the head is the problem, I think its the cabs.
    They say they can take 350 continuos though, and 700/2 = 350 each, so I don't know what the problem is.

    If you've dropped the ohms down and maximised the output is it not possible you're overdriving the speakers by trying to run at the same settings. Surely at the same setting of 9!! the output is going to be more.
