First Amp

Once Christmas comes around I'll be able to buy myself an amp finally. I've been playing out of my Kustom 15w guitar amp for a few months and it's just not working for me. So i was wondering if anybody could give me some suggestions on a good first amp. I play a lot of metal and classic rock. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll probably spend around $300 or less. Most of my playing will be in my bedroom since I don't want to join a band until I get a car.

i just got a kustom KBA-65 an that seems to be pretty impressive as far as sound quality and volume goes.

Buy a used Ampeg BA115. $250 used, $350 new. There might even be one in the TB classifieds, or Craigslist.
