Here is the first build of 07.
It`s a 27.5" 8 string baritone guitar with 32 frets.
Looks really nice Mike. looking forward to finish pics. I really like the coved top on the cutaways, something I like on guitars a lot.
That looks absolutely beautiful, man!
Classic wood choices!
Thanks guys. I`ll snap some shots when I get some color on it.
You'd better! Haha.
This one is getting hot pink/ green burst with smiley faces all over it. Correct?
Hey, if you're man enough to put that on one of your guitars, I'm man enough to play it live!!!
I'm not even joking!
Maybe not the smiley faces though. Maybe.
Nice and clean both front and back.
too bad it's a FRICKIN' GUITARRRRR!!!!
With all the bass range of a 4 string bass.
+1 on the carve top. What's the darker wood in the neck? Are you going with double truss rods accessed through the pickup rout?
What's your pickup?
The neck is maple and purple heart. The back is african mohagany. The neck is real strong and only needs one rod. It`s adjustable from the headstock, haven`t trimed out the headstock cap covering the rout yet. Bridge is Hipshot.
This one will make the next batch in the booth in two weeks.
It`s getting a black stain backsanded and a trans grey top and headstock.
